But the *Brahma Purāṇa* does not help us at all in determining the exact location of the temple of Varāha at Kokāmukha in the Himalayas. For this, we have to examine other Puranic texts. In this connection, attention of scholars may be drawn to the *Varāha Purāṇa*.
