The heaven called Yāma is midway between Trayastriṃśa and Tuṣita. One day in Yāma is equal to 200 human years and a Yāma-deva’s average life is 2000 years of such days. In the same way, one day of the Tuṣita world is equal to 400 human years and the period of 4000 years of such days is the term of life of a Tuṣita-deva. The Bodhisattva and his parents live in Tuṣita which is the most beautiful of the celestial worlds. The other two Deva-lokas of the Buddhists are of lesser importance and are rarely mentioned in literature.
