20. Gaṇḍaki—modern Gaṇḍak (Buṛhī-Gaṇḍak), joining the Ganges near Sonepur or Hariharakṣetra (opposite Patna) in the Muzaffarpur District of Bihar ; another smaller river of the same name runs through Nepal and the Gorakhpur and Saran Districts and falls into the Ghogra (which joins the Ganges at Chapra), while a third Gaṇḍak is a small tributary of the Bāgmatī (tributary of the Buṛhī-Gaṇḍak).
