The adverbs may represent an instrumental singular or neut. plural form: the evidence is insufficient to establish a neuter singular in -ū, though it is favoured in one or two passages, as urú vi 20 5c (2T), 47 14c (2T), 61 11b (2T), x 147 5b (2T), purú iv 31 8c (2D), *x 94 5d (2T). In i 6 5a (2D) vílú cid should probably be read as neut. plural.
