Many of the appearances of nū ṣū in the positions 3T, 3D above are due to restorations which will be explained later in this chapter: but even apart from these the long vowels are amply justified for all four particles, and it appears reasonable to restore the forms with long vowels in all occurrences in groups A and B, as well as in the positions 2D and 4D.
