In Trochaic Gāyatrī the most common forms of the cadence have trochaic rhythm, but the length of the seventh syllable is of more importance than that of the fifth. The iambic cadence is fairly common; the forms - - ◡ ◡ and ◡ ◡ ◡ ◡ are rare.
