253. The following list shews the various forms of the stanza which occur in the Rigveda. For convenience of reference they are arranged in the ascending order of the number of verses in the stanza, and of the number of syllables in each verse in order. The titles given in the Anukramaṇī are given when they are practically convenient, but omitted when they are misleading. New titles are given within square brackets.
