² In the text there is no *vo*! But I think this word was indispensable for the interpretation given by the English translators in order to get something with which to connect *sakāya niruttiyā*. According to the actual text *saka* may be connected only with *buddhavacanaṃ*. For the meaning "ordains, decides" for *anujānāti*, cf. Vin., I. 45^25, 88^31, 85^19, 24, 94^13, etc.
