That there are *Aṅgas* and *Upāṅgas* for the *Vedas* is corroborated by *Nandī* (s. 42) and *Aṇuogaddāra* (s. 41). Besides Hemacandra Sūri, too, in his com. (p.36ᵇ) on *Aṇuogaddāra* says:
