¹ By Rājaçekhara, who mentions also Vikaṭanitambā, Vijayāṅkā of Karṇāṭa as peer of Kālidāsa in the Vaidarbha, Prabhudevī Lāṭī, and Vijjakā, as well as Subhadrā. His wife Avantisundarī figures with him as an authority on poetics. Kane (*Sāhityadarpaṇa*, p. xli) suggests equating Vijjakā with Vijayāṅkā, and Vijayabhaṭṭārikā, queen of Candrāditya (*c.* 660 A. D.).
