“On the second day he tells the story which begins with Yama Vaivasvata (from the Śatapatha). As the people of Yama were the fathers, and there are fathers present, he teaches the elders by this story. He then says, ‘The Yajurveda is the Veda; this is the Veda,’ and recites an Anuvâka (âśvamedhika) of the Yajush.
