The test which has thus been applied to our chronological arrangement of the Sûtra literature in general, in the case of the Uṇādi-sûtras, so far from invalidating, has rather strengthened our argument for placing the whole literature of the Sûtras, at least of those which are connected with the Vedas, between the years 600 and 200 B.C.
