For the fourth Veda, the Atharvaṇa, or Brahmaveda, an Anukramaṇī has been discovered by Professor Whitney in a MS. of the British Museum, prepared for Col. Polier. A copy of this MS. is found in MS. 2142 of the East India House. It is a complete index to the Saṃhitā in 10 Paṭalas, written in a simple and intelligible style. Its title is Bṛhat-sarvānukramaṇī.
