The only Anukramaṇis of which the authors are known are, the Anukramaṇis of Śaunaka to the Rig-veda, and the two Sarvânukramas of Kâtyâyana, one to the Rig-veda, the other to the white Yajur-veda. We shall see whether it is possible to fix the age of these two writers.
