Thus we find that all those ideas were in the making in the Brāhmaṇas, which were fully developed only in the Āraṇyakas and the Upaniṣads. It is also remarkable that there is no ONE creation legend in the Vedas and the Brāhmaṇas, which has won general acceptance in India. There are a great number of creation legends containing the most diversified ideas and speculations which can never be made to harmonize with one another.
