∗ For instance *Ribhu* is compared to Greek Orpheus, Saramâ to Gk. Elenes, Vritra to Gk. Orthros, Dâsahantar to Gk. Deophentes. I have already referred to his suggestion regarding the comparison of *Vrishâkapi* with Gk. *Erikapaeos*. If all these deities existed in the Indo Germanic perio d, why not their hymns ?
