⁶⁵ The Táṇḍya-Bráhmaṇa has been edited, together with Sáyaṇa’s commentary, in the *Bibl. Ind.* (1869–74), by Ánandachandra Vedántavágíśa. At the time of the Bháshika-Sútra (see Kielhorn, *I. St.*, x. 421) it must still have been accentuated, and that in the same manner as the Śatapatha; in Kumárilabhaṭṭa’s time, on the contrary (the last half of the seventh century, according to Burnell), it was already being handed down without accents, as in the present day. See Müller, *A. S. L.*, p. 348; Burnell, *Sámavidhána-Bráhmaṇa*, Preface, p. vi.
