The Chhándogyopanishad has been edited by Dr. Roer in the *Bibliotheca Indica*, vol. iii., along with Śaṃkara's commentary and a gloss on it.⁷⁰ Fr. Windischmann had previously given us several passages of it in the original, and several in translation; see also *I. St.*, i. 254-273.
