¹²⁸ Sáyaṇa on T. Br., iii. 4. 16, p. 361, explains (!) the word by 'teacher of the art of dancing on the point of a bamboo;' but the *vaṅśanartin* is introduced separately in v. 21 (T. Br., iii. 4. 17).
