A History of Indian Literature v1.c8.s3.80

v1.c8.s3.80

"Of one heart and of one mind,
Free from hatred do I make you,
Take delight in one another,
As the cow does in her baby calf.

Loyal to his sire the son be,
Of one mind, too, with his mother;
Sweet and kindly language ever
Let the wife speak to her husband.

Brother shall not hate the brother,
And the sister not the sister.
Of one mind and of one intent,
Speak ye words of kindness only."¹
