² A Kṣudraka is mentioned by Hsüan Tsang as the fifth Āgama of the Śrāvakapiṭaka, s. *Lévi* in JA s. 11, t. VIII, 1916, p. 20. Nevertheless, the "four Āgamas" are especially emphasized as the real Āgamas, as for instance, when the Divyāvadāna makes frequent mention (pp. 17, 331, 333) of the *āgamacatuṣṭayam*, cf. *Oldenberg* in ZDMG 52, 654 f.
