v2.c19.s6.t4.267

The Yogācāra-Bhūmi-Śāstra or Saptadaśa-Bhūmi-Śāstra, too, of which only a portion, the Bodhisattva-Bhūmi,² has come down in Sanskrit, is among the works which are supposed to have been revealed to Asaṅga by the mythical Maitreya: probably, however, it is one of Maitreyanātha's works. It is a prose work after the style of the Abhidharma texts. The Bodhisattva-Bhūmi, "The Bodhisattva step," is the fifteenth of the seventeen steps taught in this large work: the last step is that in which no trace of the Karman remains.¹
