v2.c19.s6.t4.80

² We are justified in drawing this conclusion, from the prophecy which Buddha is made to utter (Aṣṭasāhasrikā p. 225 f.): "These Sūtrāntas, in which six Pāramitās are taught, will be current in the South after the passing away of the Tathāgata, from the South they will go to the East again, and from the East again to the North." *Cf.* Anesaki in ERE IV, 838 (where "west," instead of "east," is an error).
