Book II of this Aṅga is a complete contrast to Book I both in form and contents, and is more closely associated with the seventh and the ninth Aṅgas. Curiously enough, the story of the goddess Kālī is here told as a Dhammakahā, "sermon,"¹ though it is eminently unsuitable for this purpose.
