*yenāsminnativicitre kaviparamparāvāhini saṁsāre kālidāsāmaru-prabhṛtayo dvitrāḥ pañcaṣā vā mahākavayo ganyante* । "Hence there are two or three or at the most five or six real poets like Kālidāsa, Amaru etc. in this very strange world". It is appreciable that this peculiar theory on aesthetics is not universally recognised.
