v3.c35.s8.125

² Ravicandra, the author of the commentary Kāmadā, attempts to prove the authorship of the great philosopher even by explaining the verses as having two meanings, and that in addition to the erotic sense, each of them has also a theosophical idea conveyed in it. This commentary was published in Calcutta 1808. Cf. Kathavate, Report p. 14; Eggeling, Ind. Off. Cat. p. 1520 ff.
