² पिण्डगोत्रऋषिसंबन्धा रिक्थं भजेरन्स्त्री चानपत्यस्य । If we read here **स्त्री वानपत्यस्य** (in stead of **स्त्री चानपत्यस्य**) as is done in the Ānandāśrama edition of the work, the widow will be an alternative heir, and not a coheir.
