² तिस्रः कोटयर्धकोटी च यानि रोमाणि मानुषे । तावत्कालं वसेत्स्वर्गे भर्तारं यानुगच्छति ॥ ब्यालग्राही यथा ब्यालं बिलादुद्धरते बलात् । एवमुद्धृत्य भर्तारं तेनैव सह मोदते ॥ IV, 31-32. This passage is an interpolation, because two verses earlier, Parāśara permits a widow to remarry.
