¹ अदण्डयदण्डने राज्ञो दण्डस्त्रिशद्गुणोऽम्भसि। वरुणाय प्रदातव्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यस्ततः परम्। शास्ता हि वरुणो राज्ञां मिथ्या व्याचरतां नृषु। *Artha.* IV, 13.
