¹ Yusuf Gada was a pupil of the celebrated Shaikh Nasir-ud-din Chiragh of Delhi and composed the book in 1393 (Ethe, 732). The book contains only 776 verses, but the author claims to have given a complete exposition of the orthodox beliefs and practices to the reader (compare T., 29).
