¹ Compare Grierson, *Padumavat Int.*, 2. Two of the poems of Malik Muhammad Jaisi are now available—the *Padumavat* and the *Akhrawat*. The *Padumavat* was edited in part by Grierson and Dvivedi in 1869 and was stopped on the death of the Hindu scholar. The *Akhrawat* was published by the Nagari pracharini Sabha of Benares in 1904.
