The game of polo was played substantially as it is to-day.² For horse-racing, the skill of Rajputs and Gujaratis, among others, was praiseworthy.³ We shall not be wrong in inferring that the Turks and Afghans and in fact all ruling classes of Hindustan had attained a very high degree of skill in horsemanship.
