¹ The Commentary (Ben. edn., p. 279) says, यथाहुर्बाभ्रव्याः— पुत्रिकां चित्ररूपाश्च पथवः शुकसारिकाः । सर्वेषां गूढभावानां दूतकर्माणि कुर्वत ॥ इति । Besides, the commentator quotes eight verses—Bābhravīyāḥ Ślokāḥ—at pp. 37-38. Moreover, he introduces the sūtra सुरतान्ते सुखं पुंसां, etc. (p. 81) with the remark आसुमेचार्यं बाभ्रव्यीतेन श्लोकेनाह ।
