Kalingattupparaṇi, 97. Cp. *Śila.* V. ll. 76-88. The Korravai was the counterpart of the Sanskrit Durgā whose help was sought by special prayers by Arjuna, the Pāṇḍava, on the eve of the Great Battle with the Kurus.²
