⁵⁰ The Auśanasa Dhanurveda gives more details. The śakti is said to be of three kinds—the best, middling and inferior. Their handle was again of four kinds—bamboo, wood, ivory and iron (See Lakṣaṇa Prakāśa, pp. 313 ff).
