11. This group recalls the first four of the eight so-called *vīras*, or "heroes," who sustain kingship (*PB* 19. 1. 4). This group comprises the king's brother, the king's son, the purohita, and the first consort, followed by *sūta*, *grāmaṇī*, *kṣattṛ*, and *saṃgrahītṛ*.
