*Paikān-kash*. This word is from *paikān*, arrowhead, *kash*, root of *kashīdan*, to draw out. The implement was shaped like a pair of pliers, and as its name implies, was used to extract arrow heads from the body. It is N°. 19 of the *Āīn* list, i, 110, and figure N°. 146 on plate xii. The *tīrbardār*, N°. 18, (if the reading be correct) was another instrument for the same purpose.
