In the “Life and Correspondence of the Right Honble Sir Bartle Frere”, i, 56, these is a drawing by him of two large guns that he saw at Bījāpur in 1848. One was on the *Uparī-burj* (upper bastion?); the other he calls *Mulūk Juft*. Neither of them was mounted on a carriage.
