(5) *Bartarafī*. — If the discharged *manṣabdār* produced a clear verification roll, he received half of the pay of his *zāt* rank, and the full pay of his horsemen (*tābinān*). Matchlockmen received their pay in full up to the date of discharge (B.M. 1641, fols. 57*b*, 62*a*).
