*Dastwānah.* — This was a gauntlet, or mailed glove, with steel arm-piece. It is Nº. 68 of the *Āīn*, 112, and is shown as Nº. 55 on plate xiv. The specimens in the Indian Museum are Nos. 452, 453, 454, 455 (Egerton, p. 112), 568, 570 (id. 119), 587, 590 (id. 124), 745 (id. 139). Three of these are shown, two on plate xii, opposite p. 122, and one on plate xiv, opposite p. 136.
