Ramatha Ramathas are also mentioned in the Mahābha. (II. 36. 12) According to Dr Sylvain Lévi, Ramatha should be located between Ghazni (Jāguda) and Wakhan (Vokkāna) Like Jāguda, Ramatha was par excellence the country producing hingu (asafoetida).⁵¹
