The mountain Dasannakūḍa was also called Gayaggapadagiri (see Gayaggapadagiri). A description of this mountain is given in the Avasyaka Cūrṇi. It was situated to the north-east of Dasannapura and is said to have been visited by Mahāvīra.¹⁹⁷
