Khiipaitthiya is said to have been situated in Avaravideha; a merchant of this town left for Vasantapura for trade.³⁶¹ It is said that Khupaitthiya was visited by Karakandu, Dummuha, Nami and Naggai, the four *Pratyekabuddhas*.³⁶²
