The commentary on the *Uttarādhyayana* mentions another robber Maṇḍiya by name. Maṇḍiya tied a bandage round his knee and pretended that he was suffering from a festering boil (*duṭṭhagaṇḍa*). He worked as a tailor (*tunnāya*) during the day time and robbed the people.
