The **Chief Minister** is called *Mantrin* (*lit.* 'Adviser'], *ie.*, the Mantrin, in the Artha-Śāstra, whose position is the first amongst the Ministers. Next to him comes in the Artha-Śāstra the *Purohita*, then the *Senāpati* and after the Senāpati comes the **Yuvarāja**.³
