1. To organise the study of Indian Culture in Greater India, i.e. (1) *Serindia* or Central Asia; (2) *India Minor* (Afghanistan. etc.); (3) *Indo-China* or Burma, Siam, Laos. Cambodia, Champa; (4) *Insulindia* or Sumatra, Java, Bali, Madura and the islands of the Malay Archipelago; in China, Korea, Japan, and in other countries of Asia, e. g. Iran and Western Asia.
