The Vaijayantī just mentioned is a very elaborate commentary on Vi. containing numerous quotations and excurses, which, according to the Mss., was composed by Nandapaṇḍita in the year 1622 at Benares. This learned Dharmādhikārin whose descendants are still living in Benares (§ 12), has left behind him a considerable number of extensive works on law and also in the sphere of philosophy and even poetry.
