I. 81 and II. 124 - a Bhāruci mentioned as an ancient teacher of Viśiṣṭādvaita system by Rāmānujācārya in his Vedārthasaṁgraha - Bhāruci the philosopher is probably identical with Bhāruci the jurist - from notices in the Sarasvatīvilāsa Bhāruci seems to have commented on the Viṣṇudharmasūtra - Bhāruci and Mitākṣarā disagreed on numerous points.
