Hiraṇyakeśidharmasūtra forms 26th and 27th *praśnas* of the Hiraṇyakeśikalpa-Hiraṇyakeśin's can be hardly called an independent work, as it borrows hundreds of sūtras word for word from Āp. - a few additions made to Āp. in Hiraṇyakeśi Dh. S. - Hiraṇyakeśin's readings are smoother and more classical than Āpastamba's - arrangement of sūtras also is somewhat different in the two - com. of Mahādeva called Ujjvalā on Hiraṇyakeśin is almost the same as Haradatta's on Āp. - Bühler thinks Mahādeva borrows from Haradatta - Mahādeva's com. in a few places contains more matter than Haradatta's and Mahādeva differs from Haradatta.
