⁹⁹ आम्रे फलार्थे इत्यादि ह्यापस्तम्बस्मृतेर्वचः । फलवत्त्वं समाचष्टे नित्यानामपि कर्मणाम् । बृहदारण्यकभाष्यवार्तिक. आपस्तम्ब's words are 'तद्यथा आम्रे फलार्थे निर्मिते छाया गन्ध इत्यनूत्पद्येते एवं धर्मं चर्यमाणमर्था अनूत्पद्यन्ते ।'
